About ChrissyOur family loves to travel! We love to help families travel. I can still remember when my first two "littles" were only 13 months old and 27 months old when we took them on their first big adventure to Walt Disney World in Florida. We were so scared. Originally, we had planned my grandmother and her sister to join us, but they backed out at the last minute. (Please take this as a lesson to NOT wait! Do it now! When you're approaching 80 years, or are in your 80's, planning something 9 months or more out, unfortunately, is never a guarantee.) By the time our trip rolled around, they were not physically able to make the trip and so my hubby and I were on our own with two littles for five nights of fun. It was WAY more fun than we expected. "Wasn't it exhausting?" you ask. Of course! We were SO tired, but the most fun and tired we've ever been. A few months later we decided to take advantage of our passes from Jason's dad being a retired Delta pilot and head for the Caribbean on a stand-by flight. With an 18-month-old and 3-year-old in tow, we headed for Aruba. It was glorious. Guess what we did the next December? We went to the other coast to Disneyland, of course! Favorite Place to Travel: I honestly feel like I'm "home" when I get to the Magic Kingdom. I often wish I could just sit and watch people and just "feel" the Magic Kingdom, with no agenda and no schedule. Besides the feeling of being in the Magic Kingdom, the feeling of the past, the future and fantasy, I LOVE being in the World Showcase at Epcot. I LOVE the culture, the variety, and feeling like I've been out of this world for at least a day. Epcot never disappoints. Besides being at Disney, put me on a cruise ship, any cruise ship, anywhere. I LOVE to cruise. I cruise like it's my job. Wait? It is! How lucky am I?! I love to cruise. Best Thing I've Ever Eaten on Vacation: When thinking back to that thing that I put in my mouth that was beyond comprehension, honestly, my first thought is a Chinese restaurant in Chinatown in Montreal. OMG. We ate there three times in one week. It was FABULOUS. The second place, sadly now closed, is Union Fare in Manhattan. Best bakery. Best "Draft Latte." Best EVERYTHING we tried while my daughter danced with American Ballet Theater for six weeks one summer. It was our FAVORITE. Next, I have to give a shout out to the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival. There are so many flavors. You can forget about food boredom! And you read that right, I said the Flower and Garden Festival, not the Food and Wine Festival. I like both, but the Flower and Garden is the freshest, funnest, and my favorite!
