About GabimarieA little more about me. My love for horses actually took place at La Cantuta Resort in Peru. Here I rode a horse for the first time at the age of 2 and I was hooked. I currently have horses of my own, can speak Spanish, and have worked in the hotel world for 5 years. I'm newly married to my best friend and he's the king of road trips! Whether it's here in the states or in another country, we always try to travel when we can. That can be a cruise, a stay at a beach resort, Or even camping out in Colorado! It's our way of reminding ourselves to enjoy life and not just work ourselves silly. I have one other motivation for travelling and that is the food! I love ethnic cuisine from all over and I am always trying local wines and spirits where ever I go.
Your favorite place to travel: I love traveling to areas that are not heavily populated nor overrun with tourists. In other words I like going off the beaten path. This is so I can have more unique experiences with out having to compete with other people, weather it's in a big exciting city, on the beach, or out in the back country. That being said, I'm totally the person who will try to visit theme parks during their slow season so I can enjoy the parks more. I also can't get enough of universal studios. My 3rd favorite place to travel to is anywhere that I can take my horse! Horse camping trips are the best! My goal is to see Yellowstone National Park from the back of my girl. I'm pretty familiar with most parks and have an understanding of how to pick out what trails to take. Sometimes my childhood best friend who loves hiking, goes with me! The best thing you've ever eaten on vacation: To this day, the best thing I have ever had the pleasure of eating on a trip was Ivan Ramen in Lower Eastside Manhattan NY. I had the Tonkotsu Tsukemen. This dish is where you dip thick cold noddles into a creamy pork bone broth. The restaurant itself you could tell the owner pulled out all the stops. He even actually went to Japan to learn how to make tradition ramen so that he could open his restaurant in NY. The best part about being a Travel Advisor: What I enjoy the most about being a travel agent is speaking with people from all walks of life. Everyone is different and so are their vacations. I find it fascinating to find out what everyone individually has as an idea for a great vacation. The feedback is also fantastic so that I can guide other clients who maybe going to those same destinations. I want everyone who books with me to get the most out of there vacation and have the most wonderful time. Click on the destinations below to learn more about them!Coming Soon!
