About JanetHi! I am Janet Stiles and I hail from the land of cheese in Wisconsin. I was born and raised here and then moved back here after the military. I am a disabled combat veteran, where I served in the US Navy and deployed on both Navy ships and a tour in Afghanistan with the Army. I am a huge Disney lover, and I really mean huge! I have so many Disney things scattered around my house, my office is Disney themed, and my kitchen is even decorated with Mickey Mouse. I also really enjoy singing (especially Disney of course), crafting, animals and just spending time with my beautiful little girl, who is my absolute world and just celebrated her 4th birthday in Disney World. My faith, family and friends are so very important to me, and I love doing things that will create precious memories to cherish. And those precious memories are exactly what I want to help create for you as well! I always loved it when my family took trips to Florida and other areas of the US as a child, but my love for travel really took off when I joined the military. Since then, I have visited so many places across the nation as well as several countries. My favorite place to visit is all things Disney, as it just holds a special place in my heart. But while I believe in the magic of Disney, I also know that magical memories can be made anywhere, and I would love to help you make those wherever you want to go! I started unofficially travel planning 20 years ago while in the military. One of my jobs in the Navy was being the Admiral’s personal aide, and part of that job entailed planning and booking all his travel, which was a lot if you can imagine. I became extremely proficient at all aspects of the travel planning process and found that I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have since helped many friends and family plan and book their travel vacations. I believe that being a travel agent is all about serving people and helping to give them that absolute best vacation possible. Traveling is such a personal thing, and no two vacations will ever be the same. What I love most about planning someone’s trip and what I believe to be the key to making it truly special is to really listen to individual needs and wants. By doing this, I can plan a totally custom-tailored memory maker experience that you will not only enjoy but remember for a lifetime! Your Favorite Place to Travel: I love to travel anywhere, but Disney will always be my favorite place to go. I don’t know what it is about Disney, but it holds a place in my heart. I think part of the reason I love it is that there is so much to do and see and eat for everyone. It is a magical place that people of absolutely any age can enjoy. It is a different world and I feel transported whenever I go. Another favorite place for me, though this one is not a specific place, is the ocean. I really do love the ocean. I always have even as a kid, but I think the Navy just solidified it for me. It is my “Hakuna Matata” place where no worries seem to bother me. Whether watching the waves from the sand, swimming, surfing, or sailing, I always find my serenity when I am around the water. Like Moana, the sea just calls to me. (Can you tell I am a Disney nerd? ) The best thing you've ever eaten on vacation: Hmmm… this one is hard because I love so many different foods. I don’t know really know if I have a favorite travel food, as I have had something I loved everywhere I have gone. I ate the best gyro in my life while on the Greek island of Crete. I had amazing potica in Slovenia. The Pesche Scaligere (Stuffed Peaches with Almonds) was so scrumptious is Venice. I can’t forget Disney here either because there are oh so many delicious foods to be found all over Disney, especially Epcot. And if you want the best cheese curds in the world, come visit Wisconsin! The best part about being a Travel Advisor: I am a giver, and with this job I love that I am able to help give people the opportunity to create precious memories that they will carry with them forever. I love listening to them, really getting to know them, and then sending them off to explore and experience joy from the vacation I helped plan. I love to live vicariously through their travels by hearing about and seeing all the pictures from their adventures. I love knowing that I was a part of that journey. Call 855-939-4328 ext 5380.
