About Tina

Hello and welcome to my little corner of the HEAT world! I will take a little time to tell you about myself with a hope that you will come to believe in and know that my desire is to help serve where I can during my time on this planet. My name is Tina and my primary call is to serve Jesus. My secondary call over the years has been to serve individuals with hearing loss and other special needs in the education and healthcare sectors. Now, I am venturing into the world of travel as an agent to help share my passion of seeing the world, whether that be Walt Disney World, or the great beyond!

I live in Illinois, so the winters get long! Did I mention the winters in Illinois get long? That said, I’ve been so blessed to be able to visit Florida during the winter nearly every year since the early 2000’s. In addition to Florida, I have traveled throughout the US and abroad for many years as well. Some of those trips have been as a child and an adult with my family, some trips with friends and much as a solo business and vacation traveler! I feel very blessed! Because of this, I can say that travel is a blessing we don’t take for granted! So with that knowledge, my desire is to help YOU make the most of your travel dollars and your travel time!

When on vacation, my father had a saying that he took from his army days “it’s all good time!” He took that spin on his service time to help us kids understand on a vacation it is all good time. He and my mom wanted us to “look out the window” and “see”. To take in all the sights, sounds, smells, feels… and of course, tastes along the way. And to take the snafus of trips in stride, because “it’s all good time!”

My hope for YOU is that you will have so many great moments on your trip and very few snafus! This is not just a hope but a prayer and my firm commitment to you to try to make that happen! Because…as excited as I get to go on my own vacations… I truly do get so excited for others when they are able to get away too… It truly brings me so much joy! So with that said, if you entrust me with your travel needs, know I will try my best for you and your travel companions!

Well, you provably guessed it… yes, Walt Disney World! At this point in my life, WDW is indeed my happy place for many reasons. I have loved traveling the US and the world and may diversify my travel itinerary again in the future, but for now… WDW it is

The best thing you've ever eaten on vacation:

This question is SO HARD to answer! I have had so many amazing bites at WDW and globally, but I truly believe that the a food item that pops into my mind is one of such simplicity… it was a po boy sandwich I had in New Orleans many years ago. I had asked the concierge at my hotel for an off the beaten path dining recommendation, specifically, “where do the locals go?” And he directed me to this restaurant, definitely off the beaten path, where I ordered a po boy sandwich that I still think back to to this day as being the best sandwich I ever had!

The best part about being a Travel Advisor:

To be so real, I thought it would be fun to help people plan their travel because I love travel and it would be great to get a little monetary boost along the way… but I can whole heartedly say, just knowing that I have been able to save my clients some hard-earned money and then later they circle back and let me know that their location was “lovely and the resort was beautiful and that they had a great time”… well that is the best feeling ever! Truly, being an agent is investing in a part of a person/ family’s life and at the end of the day, I just want that investment to return in ways that bring joy and blessings to all!
